Add a booking manually
Step 1: Start adding a booking
- From Bookings → Add Booking (main method)
- Use the Quick Add button in the menu bar, the green button on the dashboard overview or click the icon in the planning overviews
Step 2: Add the customer
- Existing customer? Type their name and select
- New customer? Click Add New customer
Step 3: Fill booking details
Fill in date, boat, duration, and extras. If the booking comes in via a partner, select them under Partner — the booking will automatically apply their pricing and settings.
By default, you follow the same rules as customers (availability, duration limits, pricing). Need to break the rules? Turn on Override mode.
- Ignore settings - Book with different pick-up times or durations than allowed
- Ignore availability - Place bookings even when no boats are available
- Ignore cost changes - Skip automatic price calculations
Step 4: Check and adjust
Your booking is now created but needs confirmation. You can still make manual adjustments (like changing the price) before finalizing.
Step 5: Confirm the booking
You land on the booking detail page with a confirmation bar pinned to the top. It stays visible across every tab, so you can finalize from anywhere.
Click Confirm when you're ready.
Expand the bar to fine-tune what happens on confirm:
- Notify customer - Sends the booking confirmation email plus any other trip messages you have configured.
- Include payment link - Adds a payment request to the confirmation email for the outstanding amount.
- Payment due - Pick when the payment link expires:
- Before start of trip - At pickup time.
- Before end of trip (default) - At dropoff. Lets last-minute walk-ups still pay through the link.
- In 2 weeks - 14 days from now, capped at the trip end.
- Custom - Pick your own date and time.
The bar shows a yellow left border and a "check costs" label. Open the Finance tab to enter your manual prices, then come back and confirm.
What happens next: The booking flips to confirmed and the bar disappears. From here you can still edit details, add notes, or send fresh payment requests.
